The Olathe school district changed to the middle school model this school year. Chase is in seventh grade so it really didn't affect him too much except where sports are concerned. (By the way, he's number 71! )
In the past, seventh grade was the first year of junior high, and therefore, sevies where unable to participate in any sport besides track. This year, however, since seventh grade is the second year of middle school and ninth graders are now at the high school, football was opened to seventh graders. Chase couldn't have been happier!
I love the anticipation of a great game!
