We have had such a mild summer so far in KC, except for the week the boys were at scout camp (of course!.) It was so pleasant today that when Chase asked if we could camp out in the back, I enthusiastically agreed!! We built a fire, roasted hot dogs, made s'mores, and enjoyed watching the embers as it got darker and darker outside.
What's camping without a fire?
Buns are too fancy for us!
Why do kids love setting their marshmallows on fire?
Maddie, Chase's favorite camping companion. She warns us of bears, bobcats, skunks, and other wildlife of ill repute!!
