While wandering through the campsite at Bartle last Sunday, I saw many different varieties of mushrooms...or toadstools. What's the difference? Well, I've always heard that the term 'toadstool' refers to a poisonous fungus, while the term 'mushroom' refers to an edible one. Either way, being that they're both fungi, I have chosen to steer clear of ingesting ANY variety!!! Besides, they taste like dirt!
Generally, mushrooms have smooth caps so this is probably a toadstool. By the way, have you ever seen a toad sitting on a toadstool...me neither!
