Today was a special day for these Kaw River scouts (plus a few visitors!) Nefi Chavez received his Eagle Scout Award...the highest rank awarded to a youth in Boy Scouts.
Nefi asked Chris to speak at his Court of Honor and presented him with a "Mentor" pin. This award is brand new and allows Eagle scouts to recognize one leader who helped them through the years to attain the rank of Eagle. It was a very sweet exchange.
Ahh...feel the love! Chris and I were totally oblivious!
