Maddie Got Skunked!!

There's a skunk in our neighborhood....we smell it almost every evening. I guess he was wandering through our property tonight because I had Maddie with me while putting things away in the outbuilding and the next thing I knew...she'd been skunked! Poor Maddie, she's such an animal lover. I'm sure she only wanted to be friends, but you know how skunks are--not very discriminating!

Luckily, I had some large cans of tomato juice on hand. I don't think Maddie really likes tomatoes!!! After letting her soak for several minutes, we decided it was safe to rinse her off. All finished.....hope she's more careful next time!!
