We love cats at our place. That is, everyone except Chris. Thankfully, he's very tolerant of our feline fetish. We've had a string of cats over the years and most of them have found us. CJ, Snickers, Blackie, Milky...all were indoor/outdoor cats and (except for Milky) met their demise all alone out in the wide world. CJ was hit by a car and Snickers and Blackie just disappeared. Never came home. Don't know what happened to them. Heartbreaking. We decided if we ever got another cat, it would be an indoor only cat. It was too hard losing them after just a few months or years. Our next cat would live to be a ripe old age, living the good life indoors. See Jude above...that's a cat living the Miller High Life! Lounging in the sun, eating when he wants, playing when he wants. Basically, doing what he wants when he want to do it. Typical cat behavior!

This is what Jude looked like when Mal and Marissa brought him home on September 30 last year. He was a three-week-old puff ball.

Don't let his diminutive size fool you. He would wait under a kitchen chair and attack anyone or anything passing by...no matter how big they were!

This was Jude's favorite perch. As soon as you picked him up, he would crawl up to your shoulder.

I'll get you, Mallorie!

No, Jude, I'll get
you!!

Maddie is a true animal lover and gladly accepts whatever creature we add to the family...bird, reptile, or mammal.

Jude always wanted to be friends with Milky and would posture submissively to win her over. Milky was extremely territorial and would never accept him. She barely tolerated us!

This is Jude's partner in crime these days. They play and romp and wrestle and chase each other all over the house. I know they will miss each other when Lily goes off to college with Meg.
